About Helen Alexander:
I studied drawing and painting At Lagrange College in Georgia and took private lessons but am mostly self taught.
I work in oil ,watercolor, pastels and colored pencils and other kinds of drawings. I do portraits, florals, scenes, etc. I usually work from digital photos I have taken myself or from live sittings and still like setups.
I have exhibited my work in Alabama and Georgia and have won awards including "Best of Show". My work is in public and private collections in the southeast.
My painting have been featured on the website of one of the best known tea companies.
If any of my paintings turn out well, God should get the credit because he has given me the ability. I hope my paintings will make people more aware of the beauty in nature God has created for us to enjoy.
